       On 22nd of March 2018,the Polaris Hall of Malaysian Maritime Academy is full of intense aura as this is the remarkable moment for Palapes cadets intake 8 whom have been waiting for this moment through thick and thin as a squad. To become an official Palapes cadet they shall swore an oath upon the loyalty to the Royal Malaysian Navy, king and, country.

       The dream that every candidate have been waiting for is to be granted on this day. It is not easy to wield the honor of a Palapes officer. Hence, to become an officer one shall go through the training of cadet that enhance the endurance, durability, teamwork and, leadership.

      By God's grace, intake 8 squad have been successfully overcome the training to become an official Palapes cadet. With that, the ceremony begins with oath enlistment where the Palapes intake 8 swore an oath witnessed by his honorary, Commander David Fredrick, Lieutenant Commander Balakrishnan and, Lieutenant  G.Shan.

      May the Palapes intake 8 cadets shall endure their way to glory and wield the title of Sub-lieutenant and beyond.Best of luck and best wishes to the squad to achieve their goals to become a Navy Officer. Keep up the good work and never give up. May the determination and effort escort the squad to a pleasant result.

Preparation for 2018 KSPl

On 28 JAN 2018. The ALAM ROTU has started their training for the Karnival Sukan Palapes Laut. They have been vigorously training to win back the glory lost to the sport last year. among the sport which held are football, marathon, swimming and etc.







on that evening a discussion was held for the preparation of the sport and other matter.



 May this year sport event the ROTU ALAM able to get back their glory.

INTAKE 4,5,6,7 Mids orientation day


 On 13 Jan 2018 @ 0745H.

After a year left the Malaysian Marine Academy campus to undergo 'shipboard training', cadet officers pickup has been promoted to senior cadet officer or better known as 'midshipment'.








Evening night to new senior cadet officer started with a tacky session from PALAPES LAUT Malaysian Marine Academy coaches

All 38 senior cadet officers have completed a hell session provided by trainers. Although various types of sharpness are included 'forward roll to the end of the field, endless side roll etc, they stand steadfastly helping each other to achieve the objective of the night.

After Orientation Session This introductory session ended with a speech from Head Coach who are very satisfied with the sincerity and 'co-operation' shown by senior cadet officer.

Promotion for ALAM reserver officer training unit (ROTU NAVY) for intake 4,5,6,7


On 19 November 2017. As many as 22 Alam R.O.T.U cadet has been promoted to the next rank, Midshipmen. There event take Place at KD Sri Klang, on of the navy base in Malaysia. As many as 22 cadet has take place for the ceremonious advancement promotion event accompany by PSSTLDM ALAM officer and other rank staff. The ceremony take place at 0900H where the commanding officer (CO) of KD Sri Klang who, promoted the cadet to the rank of midshipmen. Later a speech was given by the CO. He stated that the rank of midshipmen is the beginning of the  navy life responsibility, not only that it also the mark of power and order. below are the picture of the event.
